Please help What is the alternative for GMAC Insurance. Class A with lien holder. Must be able to put in storage with a RATE reduction during those times. Thanks Jim

I am unaware. Most lien holders do not want reduced insurance just in case it gets used when it is not suppose to. Protecting their investment.

It soulds logical that lien holders would require collision uninterupted, having said that I do know on one I owned years ago with a lien I did it and even contacted the Insurance Co. and they were fine with it also.

You'll just have to call them all and ask them...I do not recommend Progressive.

So I still need to hear some more info. I,m starting to feel like i,M the only person who winter stores there RV and Still owes money on it meaning I have to dance to the owning banks tune. . Collison is what gets stopped as its has no signifgance when parked. The liability and the comprhensive remain in force. There has got to more than GMAC that will let you do this during down times. HELP

We had GMAC, then went with National RV and are now with Blue Sky.
Since we don't leave ours in storage very long at a time I can't comment on if National or Blue Sky will do that or not.
Find a good agent and they will do all the searching for you!

Try Allstate. I haven't taken advantage of it, but my agent has told me that the option is available.

Try AARP/Hartford. Premium based on how many months a year you use the RV.

Check with a couple of agents:
Poliseek or Millers are mentiond here alot. They will do the shopping for you. I just used Poliseek to change my insurance. The best deal was with Progressive. Each situation is different so they can look with the details you need in an insurance policy.
