Looking for Pro's and Con's on G Sam's insurance

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Just to be clear, are you asking about GS liability/comprehensive/full timers insurance as opposed to the road side assistance or extended warranty policies they offer?

Have had G.S. insurance through National General for years. Some years back I bought into a good deal for life membership with G.S. so don't need to add the annual fee.
I think all of the insurance companies are "Rip Off " artists but I have found them to be less expensive, primarily because of the motorhome component. Had one company rep say right up front we cannot compete when you add in the motorhome. One other company seems to have a lot of customers but I won't handle the political aspect.
I have had a few claims with G.S. and they were handled as specified.
I also use their towing which,so far, has been okay, although you hear horror stories about the two major companies.

I he been very happy thus far (one claim $4,000.00), no hassles, premium did not increase, claim paid promptly.

Good Sam insurance is GMAC.

I just got a quote yesterday from Good Sam ins. and it was over double what I'm paying State Farm and I couldn't get a straight answer why.

Pro: You can suspend coverage when the rig is stored.
Con: In my particular case, the GS (GMAC) rate was great the first year. In year two, the premium increase nullified the storage savings. There was no claim or any other reason for the premium increase. I'm now with GEICO.
