So go out and buy a sensor, use the savings to pay for it.. Of course hooking it up is optional.

I got a call from the Insurance rep. the new price is lower then with the discount. Maybe somebody along the food chain was able to figure it out.

Gas explosions or deaths in Rvs are so rare that even the NFPA has reduced the requirements for LP safety systems in RVs. They still require a detector if LP is in use because leaks can cause asphyxiation deaths, but tank explosions and LP fires are truly scarce.
