Interior Update

Your opinions......if I am going to remodel the interior of my 2007 Coachman Aurora FWS.....is it more economical to go back to Elkhart and use the vendors there or can I get just as good a deal on captains chairs, new flooring, etc locally, say Florida?
Many thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences.

For what it would cost you for fuel to drive up and back from Elkhart you would have a good start on savings right there if you intend to do the work yourself. As far as some interior seating try Home page and check with your local big box store for flooring ideas or your local carpet centers depending on what you would like for flooring. Many do RV installations. Good luck and hope your project goes well. Be sure to post some pics of your progress.

Would sheet vinyl (wood look) be hard to put in my 2004 PaceArrow? The carpet has faded.

The net offers many good products for remodeling RV's and shipping on many items is included. Do a search for those items and compare. As for replacing carpet, many have done the same using numerous items. Just be sure if you have slides that you take the operation of the slides into consideration.

You can get an excellent job done in Florida, but labor rates in RV shops run maybe 50% greater than Indiana.

As for the furnishings themselves, you could buy them online yourself and have them shipped to the shop that will do the work.
