Intermittent Onan Problem

I have the ONAN 4000 and it has about 20 hours on it. I have experienced an intermittent problem where I start the Generator and the light continues to flash so when I release the start button it shuts down. Checked the oil and fuel and all is good. Understand the Generator will not stay running if it does not sense voltage output. Is there an easy way to check the voltage output when starting. When it does start and run it runs smoothly and quickly responds to load changes.

Is the readout showing any codes and do you have the manual for it?

If not, then here is a link to it. https://power.cummins.com/sites/defa.../F-1123-EN.pdf There is a section on reading the codes that will help you find your answers.

I did forget to mention, that as soon as we picked up the rig, the dealer immediately sent us down to a certified Onan service to have the carb swapped out on the unit. The mechanic said they were having problems with the plastic floats in the bowl VS the tin floats. He did not seem to hesitate, just did it and said you're good to go.
Just remembered that, took him about 40 minutes.
