Invasion of stink bugs.

We are having trouble with stink bugs. It seems like they are starting in the dash and crawling up the windows. And way to get rid of them without spraying up under the dash. Thank goodness they don't bite

One year we went to the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia, intending to stay the month of October. The stink bugs covered the RV and managed to find their way around the slideout seals to the inside. We spend five days catching and flushing them down the toiled! After five days we gave up the battle and went back to Maggie Valley, NC for the rest of the month. It took a long time to get rid of all of them! We were told that the invasion happens twice a year, once in the spring and again in the fall. Problem is they have no natural enemies and nobody has found a way to control them!

We found that a strong solution of pine sol and water sprayed around the slideouts helped a lot to keep them out!

Just don't make the mistake of squeezing them too tight!

We aren't having issues with the stink bugs right now up here in MI, but the shield bugs do the same thing getting into everywhere. At least they don't stink on ya.

had a lot of them here, too, and just found many within our awning arms as we were getting ready to move again... yes, annoying, and they have that 'stink' if you swat them too hard, but other than that it's good that they're not a biting breed!

FWIW, there are now pesticides that will kill stink bugs. Also box elder bugs. We had a stink bug invasion in our camper last fall. It took some spraying in cracks and crevices, and some patience, but we finally got them all. (I think.)

If you search the forums, you will find previous discussions. After trying every known internet suggestion over the course of a month, I finally fogged. Put one sprayer in the shower, and a second in the basement. Definitively killed them all, and have never seen a live one since. You will need to vacuum dead bugs from everywhere. I just found a couple dead a month ago up in my a/c, which I opened on the Reid to change squirrel cage. Those bugs get into every knock and cranny.

If u ever get again, I will fog immediately with no hesitancy. I wasted way too much time trying all the other remedies. Buy a 4 pack at Home Depot

We have been in SW Virginia for a couple of weeks and have had quite a few bugs that look like stink bugs but so far we have not smelled the acrid smell and we have swatted some pretty hard.

We will have four or five a day that find their way into the MH. When we can we try to gently trap with a kleenex and roll it up and wet it so it will stick together and put it in the trash.... I wouldn't want them breeding in my black tank!

Oh Larry, dear Larry, we leave PA before the infestation phase.
In 2012, we left October 1. When we rolled out the awning at the first campground, several hundred Stinkers flew away, and we caught Stinkers until March.
Be WELL South of the Mason-Dixon by September 1.
Just my experience.

I can't find any evidence that this is true. Here's an article on stink bug control by Orkin and indoor pesticides aren't recommended. I've found similar articles by multiple other extermination experts. https://www.orkin.com/other/stink-bugs/

So you're the guy responsible for spreading those things all over Virginia, North Carolina and Tennessee...

Maybe I'll just bring you a load of love bugs and lady bugs to Pennsylvania and I'll throw in a bag of kudzu seeds too...

I just came home from a campground that had many stink bugs. We didn't use the electric awning at the campground, but when we opened it at home about a hundred stink bugs were in the awning arms. I flicked them into a pan of water with dish soap so that they drown. That soap trick is the only way that I know of to kill them, insecticides are useless.
