Bill, Thanks for the reply! There is not just a lot of things in this world that are better than FRESH FISH
!! Sounds like you have your own "little bit O' heaven" right there between the lake and your Amish friends. My only problem is it is just too cold in the winter up there where you are, and I have NEVER in my life been able to tollerate the cold weather. Hope to meet you in Branson - Glenn.

Sorry, just saw this post.
Yeah my office is just a couple miles from the lake, usually try to jump on my bicycle a few time a week (when the weather is decent) and ride down that way to blow off the pressures of work.
Lake Erie really made a big turn around in the last 15 years and has cleaned up nicely. Perch and Walleye are the hot catch in the lake now a days.
I grew up on the lake with my family being big boaters and spent all of our summer vacations cruising around the Great Lakes. But believe it or not my Dad banned us from fishing on the boat, a real clean freak and he hated fish.
I actually live a hour south of the office in the 4th largest Amish community. And lucky for me my Amish neighbors love to fish and are always dropping off tons of it at the house that they caught from Lake Erie as well as surrounding lakes.
Think Spring!!!! </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
