To the OP, you're not going to get much sympathy or support from people here for driving at your previous speeds. Yes many people scream along in all types RVs at break neck speeds and MOST of the time they succeed. Just takes once where a person has to brake or swerve suddenly and that extra 15-20mph creates an impossible reaction to control. My personal preference on an interstate is 65 in the left lane and slower if the speed limit is lower. I don't have any qualifying record of faster speeds that I can use to compare MPG.

To those who will snipe in with "well if you were in XXXXXXX city you would get run over at that speed", remember when your mother would say, "if everybody else jumped off that bridge would you?" 3 choices, avoid XXX city during those times, or become one of the herd, drive beyond your personal and equipment limits and possibly become a statistic, or maintain positive control of your vehicle within proper limits.

Yep I'm an old fart but hope to become older and fartier.

Driving your coach at 75-80mph puts yourself and everyone around you at risk. For your safety and our, please slow down whether or not you are pulling that Fiat.

Funny that you'll keep the speed down to protect the Fiat but up till now haven't encountered the bits in your tire specs which talk about speed rating.

Sorry to sound so preachy, but it gets old seeing coaches fly past us on the freeway at speeds like you're describing, knowing all the while that there is no way to stop or take control of a rig going that fast in an emergency.
How in the world do you know the speed rating of his tires?

Because nearly every tire made for class a coaches are rated to 75mph. Same for many if not most for class c. Only smaller rigs which run passenger car or pick up tires are regularly rated higher.
