I'll just interject that many campgrounds will take a reservation, but not for a specific site.

I see that most of them state this in thier rules, but I have never been turned down in requesting a specific site(unless it is already taken),I do it everytime I leave the house.

Mentioned this in another post recently that an app with a pic of each site along with some basic info about slope, obstructions for awning/slides, hookups, etc would be a hit. Maybe that's how I could retire early!

There are a couple of websites that have a start on site photographs, but to put together one that had all campgrounds would be quite an undertaking.
