Is this a good deal?

Wife and I are looking at a new, Newmar Bay Star Sport 3306. MSRP is a little over $124k and we have them down to $74,300. Does this seem like a good price? Dealer says invoice is about $89k.

That sounds like a good deal for a 2017...

Looks like a fair deal for a 2016 too.

You don't say if this is a new (not previously titled) vehicle or what model year, but 40% of MSRP on ANY Newmar coach is a GREAT deal. This assumes that it is the actual NEWMAR MSRP, and not a dealer-doctored version.

Personally I would be looking very closely to see if there is some mechanical or cosmetic reason they are willing to sell it that cheaply. Perhaps it is a 2016 model leftover ???

I would agree with the others....even if it is a left over 2106 it is a great price! Just verify if never titled and the manufacture date on the data sticker on the coach.....so you know what you are getting. Also getting the full factory warranty from the date of purchase????

40% off ? Why is the dealer willing to loose so much?

I would be a little suspicious too. Make sure it isnt a buy back or a "hanger queen". A lot of people are dumping new coaches with issues for a loss just to get out.

I looked at a "good deal" after having a closer look found it was a lemon law buy back.

Sorry I should have been more specific in the op. It is a new 2016, never been titled. The dealer provided the window sticker with MSRP so I know that it is legit. Seems to be that it's just the last 2016 they have and they want it gone.

Sounds like a decent deal, Bear in mind that the tires are potentially 3 years old ( I would look at the code on the side walls) and the Batteries could also be pretty deep into their life cycle. You may be able to get a 25 to 27 % discount off of a 2018 . So the question you need to ask yourself is, do you feel that 15 to 13 % enough for you. I would also really take a look at the condition of this for wear, potentially quite a few people have been out of the unit over the course of time it sat at the dealer, sometimes this creates years worth of wear, sometimes more then a good used coach that has been babied.
Either way I hope it works out for you guys, good luck and congratulations🤞🏻
One more thought look at how many hours are on the generator, first service is recommended at 50 hours, ask for them to throw in a service if it close or over.

It's also likely been sitting outside in the sun and rain for 3 years.

Good price, but the discount comes for a reason.
