Hope that's not an indication of the kind of people they are.

Why would you think that????

Next time, call the local authorities. That's what they're there for!

If Free Bird is the same member name as on a boating forum, then he's a pretty good guy. Chances are that he assumed that the FMCA plate was valid; whether for current or past members.
For my knowledge base, it's weird that FMCA would not have ex-member names and IDs in their database.

Sounds like you got it taken care of...

Fact: When I got my RV I parked it in front of the house 2 doors down (With permission by the way) till I could make arrangements for better parking... I then bought a 2nd lot from the city for 368 dollars (I'm not kidding on the price here) and had to post it NO PARKING, all cars must be off this lot by "Date" or tow trucks will be called.

All but one was, and the owner of that one contacted me and we made arrangements to move it off the lot for him so his tow truck arrived the next day.

We then fenced the lot.

Free Bird is out of here. Been a member here for many years and found it to be a wonderful site with many gracious people and lots of help when needed. However, as with most of todays society, it seems to be getting a fair share of rude and unkind people. Life is short.

Isn't it sad how mean and judgmental some can be? Please don't let the haters run you off.
