We did our orientation and picked up our new 5th wheel on Saturday !! We spent about 3 hours with the tech who showed us how everything works. I videotaped it so hopefully if we have any questions we can just refer back to the tape. We also have the cell phone # of the service manager and he said to call him if we ever needed help and he would walk us through it over the phone if he could. The 5th wheel seemed sooooo much bigger once it was actually hooked up to our truck, lol. It's a Cardinal 37RL but is actually 39 ft long. My DH didn't have any problems pulling it home and backing it in beside the garage. Whew. We've got the slides out and electricity running to it and I'm going to spend the next few days setting it all up and making sure we have everything we need for our first camping trip this weekend. My 10 year old dd thinks it's a great hideout. She was out there all weekend with her dolls, cd's and books just enjoying some time to herself.
