It's so sad...

My wife's close cousin's son (20), his girlfriend and one other died and one other friend is in serious condition after the car they were in apparently pulled out in front of an Winnebago Saturday night at 8:10 PM in South Carolina. The elderly couple in the motorhome are ok, but I'm sure they are in shock.

I can't figure out why they pulled out in front of the RV. I'm still trying to get details, but it looks like they were distracted or several misjudged something.

I pray that all involved can find piece. If the RV people are on the forum, I hope they will be able to continue to enjoy the lifestyle after this event. Stay safe everyone.

Fatal accident leaves three dead in Allendale County

So sad, praying for healing.
I had two close calls last year, with people pulling out in front of my DP. You would think a large MH would not be missed, but they are. I have since installed some very obnoxious LED running lights, that will hopefully get everyone's attention at crossroads and intersections.
Stay safe everyone!

Sad indeed! Probably another case of distracted driving.

It is very sad and I am so sorry for your loss. I'm not saying this is what happened with your family, but we have had people look, see us and pull out because they don't want to be behind us. People need to learn patience and realize these motorhomes cannot stop on a dime.

So sad and hopefully not texting.
I sometimes mutter to these idiots who cut me off or pass when they shouldn't that I CAN stop on a dime but that dime happens to be in your (the idiot cutting me off) front pocket.

What a shame but it happens every day. As a former motorcycle rider It has happened to me only two times that I had an emergency. The first was 49 years ago and I t-boned a Pontiac and that stopped me from riding for 25 years. The second was 10 years ago and I did stop for a old man in a old pickup. Two times in 350000 miles in not bad .I've had more people pull out while driving my car or truck,go figure. I'm guessing those people involved in that accident sure wish they were somewhere else now.
