Jacks retract, but jack light stays on and beeper keeps beeping?

All jacks retract but the jack light stays on and at the first bump or stop sign the beeper starts. What is the fix??

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Wish I could help, but our rig has air leveling only. Just noticed you are kinda new and wanted to say hello! Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

assuming your winnie uses hwh with springs that retract the jacks
couple things to check, the fluid level at the pump unit to make sure the switch for level is seeing the right level.

others will chime it, but my parents bus did the same thing and it was the low level of fluid that kept setting off the alarm.

Could be a switch (retract-up) not making.

Make sure that you don’t have weak retract springs on one or more jacks !

We had very similar problem with a Winnie. When you retract the jacks, let them come all the way up and let the system shut itself off. If you shut the system off after the jacks show up, the system will let jacks creep down far enough to trip the alarm. Very scary when you are driving at 60 mph in traffic.

Ours retract, visually checked. Light is on. Turn on the system, and BRIEFLY, just the slightest tap to any of the down buttons and the light/alarm goes off.

Mission accomplished.
