Hope this does not violate any forum rules ? We are looking to buy an upgraded RV and have found one in Joplin, MO. We live in Idaho (1700 miles) so I'm looking for someone who might be willing to drive over to the dealership and look at the motorhome for me.

It's also priced in our budget for the motorhome. I just need someone in the area to take a look and make sure the motorhome is present, has the described equipment and looks as good as the pictures. As we all know pictures don't always worth a thousand words !!!

If anyone can help me out here, I'll buy you a beer or something... Or if you know anything about this dealership, I need to know that is appreciated also.

What is the name of the dealer? We bought from Coachlight RV, which is located just outside of Joplin. Coachlight is very reputable, and were above board with us.

The dealership is RV Wheels. The number I have is 417-553-0543.

I've been looking into this company as well, a few of their deals just seem to good to be true, I would be interested in any insight into this company, something that struck me as strange was when I called and asked questions he really didn't want to talk, he asked that I send my questions via email. And the only way he will hold the unit is if you pay 100 percent up front.

Yes, some of the deals seem to good to be true, that's why I'm looking closer into them. Don't know why the pictures are no longer available ?

Maybe this is why they don't have time for phone calls?

I also came up with some information, several of the RV's listed on his site are also listed on other sites and in different locations across the US, for example the 2006 Tiffin Allegro Phaeton 40QDH they have listed for $102,900 is actually owned by Jeff Woodard, a license dealer out of Alabama, I spoke to Jeff and he confirmed that he is not doing business in Joplin MO, and said it wasn't the first time his photos have been stolen off the web, so at the very least RV Wheels is misleading folks. RV Wheels sent me pictures of a 2004 Fleetwood Revolution they were looking to sell well below the market value, they wanted full payment to hold the unit, I emailed RV Wheels and asked for the location so I could take a look at the coach, no reply, when I spoke to the RV Wheels Salesmen (Robert Fisher) on the phone yesterday and asked for the address where the unit was stored, the connection was dropped, I've tried calling him back several times but get a busy signal. Also the address listed on the web site is a campground just off the highway in Joplin, I was going to give them a call and inquire further but at this point I don’t think it’s worth the risk.

I live about 2-hours south of Joplin and have 35 years experience in automotive teaching and repair. Also we've owned three MH's and three TT's but it sounds like you've gotten enough information to just write them off.

They are trying to be a MH broker without the real owner of the MH knowing they are doing it. Since they have been deceptive concerning not answering phone calls or messages. People wanting to look at a MH and they won't call back etc, I'd just write them off as a waste of time.

We actually have an RV place about 20 miles from us called "Wheels RV." I've dealt with them and their repair facility is excellent and very well known around the country and even around the world. They have clients that live over seas and either store or have their units serviced as Wheels RV.
