Just Five Feet Bigger?

My friend just got a 2017 Fleetwood Flair 30P. Maybe it's an optical illusion, but a 30' motor home sure looks a whole lot bigger next to my View which measures just over 25 feet in length. Inside, it seems at least double in size. Jeep added for scale.

Probably more about camera optics. Something closer to the camera (especially a camera phone) and shot from an angle will make it look longer. The outside length of the rig is actually 31' but mostly I think it's the angle.

The camera angle exaggerates the effect, but...Keep in mind that a class A is also significantly taller and wider than your class C as well. Probably 2' taller, 1.5' wider, and the difference is even more than that for your entire cab area. So yes, it IS much bigger inside and out.

We went from a 40' to a 45' rig. Didn't really notice the add'l 5' but the 4th slide really made a difference inside.
