Question Keyless Door Lock

Hi, We are new to the iRV2 community. Our 2005 HR Endeavor Entry door has remote keyless door lock that works great to LOCK the door, but, will NOT unlock the door. We hear a click but will not open so we have use the door key. Did replace the door actuator but still have the same problem. Does anyone have an idea where to look to fix the problem. Thanks

It sounds like you need to reprogram your "unlock" code. The lock code is factory set, but you set the unlock code.

Find out what manufacturer made the system, could be Essex, Trimark, or another brand. Find a copy of the owners manual which should have reprogramming instructions.

My coach came with the Essex. With the Essex they provide for the ability to reprogram, Monaco installed a reset button which is usually hidden somewhere in the dash or in the passenger console. Press the reset button and then enter in a new code, simple as that.

With our keyless system you can program several codes so if you have guests they can have their own code. It also allows you to unlock the basement door compartment by pressing the 7/8 button immediately after using the code to open the front door.

I think if you hear the CLICK when you have entered the code the problem is not in the electronics but is in the mechanics. Remove the inner door panel and watch the mechanism to see what is not moving enough. I have had to adjust mine.

Our fob is a JLFTX4 with just lock and unlock basic functions. When lock is pushed the door does lock and lights flash. When we try to unlock there is just a click and does not unlock. Removed the door panel and watched the actuator and it does not move to unlock. Have installed a new actuator and it does the same. Not sure where to look to reset the code. Any ideas?

You need to get the manufacturer and model number, them post it here for info or call the manufacturer's tech support. That number you posted doesn't mean anything to me. Sorry!

My keyless fob is Trimark. I talked to them and now have instructions to reset the code. Thanks for your help
