Keyless remote battery number

Hi everyone we recently became owners of a 2005 Fleetwood Excursion. I can't seem to find the battery replacement number for the keyless entry remote. Would anyone be able to help with that? thanks...

Can't you just pop the remote open and look at it? There will be a number on the battery.

Thanks

Thanks folks for your comments etc. I did open the remote and there was no battery number but it was easy enough to Google and replace. Now I need to program it! I'll be back with more and will put a pic up on my profile. Thanks again and it will be fun following y'all...

Assuming the remote worked before, you shouldn't have to reprogram the unit, after replacing the battery. Reprogramming can be a challenge.

If you can identify the brand of the remote locks, you can usually find the info online. Mine (on another Fleetwood product) is from HDC and the info is at Poplocks.com
