I suspect it would have to be a bedroom with no slide and the head at the back of the RV. I'd likely have to remove and rebuild the end tables to accommodate the mod.

DW's concern is how to make the bed.

My concern is how do I get my share of the bed back coming from a king in our house. The bed got smaller going to a queen in the RV and I'm the only one that lost room to sleep! LOL
Minor 'Just trust me on this one.' First, you WANT a bedroom slide. Down that road (not in the first) and that ended up as the driving force for the second.

The 'slide size' HAS TO BE appropriate for the bed inside or you'll be beating your head against a wall the second time you want to change the sheets.

Again, just trust me on this one ........

Do a search on this site "From a Queen to King"
I changed from a queen mattress to a California King (72" X 80") and posted pictures

I found the thread and saw the photos. I'll have to measure things up and see what I can do. Definitely a possibility.

Check out select comfort (i.e. two air matresses surrounded by foam, zipped in a cover). We have the Std King in our stick/brick. They come in (Width x Length):

Std Queen: 60x80
RV Queen: 60x74
Std King (a.k.a. Cal King) 72x80
Eastern King: 76x80

And come normal corner and radius corner.

It comes in boxes so there is no issue getting it through your door and back to the bedroom area.

We bought our Journey with the King. They had installed it without removing the side tables and it made it impossible to make the bed. I had the factory remove the tables. Still is a bit of a strugle to make the bed and walking around it is "close". I like a King for sleeping but wonder if the quean would have been adequate. No DOG!
