KOA VKR Points
Have accumulated 20,000 points and find them virtually useless. What are they good for? I must be missing something.

I just was calculating the value of my much fewer points the other night and yours seem to be worth a whopping $40. Not bad. I'm sure you can use those points to reduce your cost to your next KOA stay or perhaps it could cover your renewal costs. I doubt you can get cash-value for it but I'm not a lawyer...

Looks like you are a vip and you can get $25 off camping for 15,000 points according to KOA literature.

How many nights did it take you to get to that number?
There aren't any free rides. You have to play the game.
KOA card gets you
10% off rates
1.5% if you use a cash back cc
2.0% for KOA Points??????
13.5% off posted rate?

You can pay your annual membership card fee with them. I think I have about 65000 points. I will use them soon.

Points accumulate with each KOA stay. 20,000 will get you $25.00 off your next stay or you can wait to accumulate 8,000 more and get $50.00 off . The VKR rewards are 10, 25, and 50 only. You're presently not VIP status. VIP means you have stayed at a certain number of KOA's in a year and you are then awarded more points each stay. You can go to the KOA Rewards site and log in. You will see how many points you earn at each campground. Even if you stay monthly in a KOA such as in the winter, you don't get any additional discount but you are awarded 75 points per day. So you do get more than the 10% off. There are also promotions in May for Camp and Care Weekend where you pay one night, get the second free. One weekend in September is appreciation weekend where you also get second night free.
