KUDO's for Service

Five years ago I had a base plate and Air Force One braking system installed on my 2007 Saturn. This was performed at:

Smitty's RV & Welding
11500 Brittmore RD
Houston, TX 77043

Tel: 713-461-9435
or: 800-491-1891

For the past 5 years I have been trouble free with my towing system. The service they provided was excellent.

I just sold my Saturn, and Air Force One is staying with me. I called and talked to Smitty (Keith "Smitty" Smith) and told him of my situation. He was able to schedule me in for a 9 O'clock appointment this morning and while I waited I was able to use their WiFi system to pass the time. They completed the job and I was charged a very reasonable price. All of the parts were returned to me, and my future install will be back at their establishment.

So if you are in the area of Houston and need some RV work, call Smitty and see if he can do it for you. I have enjoyed doing business with Smitty's RV & Welding and I have received excellent service.

Give him a call for your towing needs.

Happy trails.

The Smitty running the place is Smitty's son and I believe his grandson works there as well. The original Smitty was a real character, but they do quality work for a decent price. His shop seems to stay pretty busy.

I recently had them add a 2" receiver hitch to the rear of my Cameo. I told them it was to accept a basket carrier and about 50# of bike and stuff. You could probably pull my 1 ton dually behind that trailer now. They did not skimp on putting the material back there to make it right. Price was 1/2 of what the dealer quoted.

Sorry ya'll, I forgot to post a link to his home page.

So here! Smitty's RV & Welding

I have informed him that there are items that are missing from the web page, like Ready Brute, and Air Force One. So, call if you have a purchase or install and just ask the question.

Happy trails.

Maverick,
I tired getting on that site but it just spins and spins and spins. No problem on any other web site.

Update on Smitty's RV & Welding

I called Smitty's RV & Welding on Monday or Tuesday (forgetful old age) and was greeted on the phone by Domingo. Such a pleasant man. Very polite and made sure he had the information right for the "boss." I did relay to Smitty of the great phone etiquette that Domingo has with customers.

Anyhow, the date of TODAY was set up for installation of the base plate and Air Force One braking system. Since I live 50 miles away, Smitty said to be there by 0930. I was there before he was around 0900 and it was less than 5 minutes when the were taking my car into a bay.

At 1430 (2:30 p.m. for you civilians) they were finished.

Again, KUDOS to Smitty's RV & Welding, 1500 Brittmore Road, Houston, TX.

I have had very good results in their service.

Happy trails.

Snotty has done all my work and always well. He is the best at what he does. He has done suspension, lights and hitch work fore. First class. I know that he even pulls on work from Dallas. One day I was there he had a Prevost coming in from far away for an upgraded hitch. I know he also does motorcycle lifts.

We love our coach'nnn
