kwikee step quick fix
Steps failed during weekend trip. I just ascertained the reason and it was a simple fix. There is a roll pin that secures the actuator arm to the output shaft of the gearbox. It had worked it's way out and was binding against the gearbox case, preventing the arm from moving. It is not easily visible, nor repairable, until you remove the motor assembly from the steps. A new roll pin solved the problem (the roll pin was worn from the torque applied to it at each end of it's travel).
