We usually have our last campout over the Columbus Day W/E...we were heading up to Vermont this year. But with a weatherman saying get ready for cooler temps and lots of rain, and in consideration for the cost of fuel, we finally opted out. It is the end of my camping year, and sure wished it had been on a better note. Oh well get winterized and get over it...

I can sure sympathize with you Big Bob. We wanted to make our last trip this next week. Called our usual c/g for reservations, full up with waiting list for the full week. First time in five years we seen this happen. Must be every one is staying closer to home. Anyway, now the weather looks very cold for a later try. I guess we will winterize the Mo/Ho, and call it quits, it has been a bummer summer.

We canceled our September trip but decided to just add the days to our trip this month. Leaving for Myrtle Beach on the 25th for at least a couple of weeks.

Hey Bob,

From all indications, it looks like you had a good idea to stay home. The weather up there hasn't been ideal for camping.

This weekend will probably be it for us. We're going to Danforth Bay for the weekend (our first time there).

Last weekend we went to Twin Rivers in Bath, NH. Friday we nearly drowned, but the rest of the weekend turned out very pleasant. The "froilage" was exceptional, given the forecasts for a not so great year in that regard.

L8r,
Steve
