Laundry Room Thoughts

Just wanting to get some opinions of others! Was doing laundry the other night. There are three washers and four dryers where we are parked. We filled two washers, left and returned after our half hour wash time was up. When we returned someone had already moved one of our loads into the dryer. Now I do not like anyone touching my clothes...especially just washed. Now I personally would never do that to someone, especially knowing it had just stopped. What are your takes on it? Am I wrong for being upset? Its not like I left and didn't come back or was way past after it had stopped. I am considering making a sign for when I am doing laundry stating not to touch.

Any thoughts would be great.....thank you!

They probably thought they were doing you a favor by moving the clothes to the dryer, while saving time for them (and not knowing when you would return). Suggest you stay with your laundry or ensure you are back well before it finishes. As for the sign idea, I think it would annoy those waiting...

IMHO

I planned to be back before or just before it was done but I had a mess to clean up. Either way they made it so I had to rewash things due to them just moving my things. I don't know I guess I am different in I wouldn't touch others clothes.

Due to all the dog hair that has to be cleaned out of the machines, we hate to use them. Certainly wouldn't move anyone's clothes. You should stay with the machine if you don't want any help.

I think the person washing/drying is obligated to be present when the washer/dryer stops. If not, and someone is waiting, expect that someone to either place items in a cart or another machine. The person waiting doesn't know or care if you have "a mess to clean up".

There was still a washer free. That is what I do not understand. Fill the empty one first and then go from there.

What are your takes on it?
That is my #1 pet peeve. People that leave their clothes in washer/dryer and never come back until way after they are done.

STAY WITH YOUR CLOTHES or be back before the washer/dryer stops.

Or I will move them if I need that washer/dryer. Done that a few times and will again.

One time at a 4 washer only campground, all washers were done and no one around.

I moved 2 of them to the top of the washers in one pile and then used those 2 washers that I needed. 15-20 minuets later 3 people showed up. Happen they weren't all together.

So they had to sort out the pile to what clothes belonged to them.

Almost all laundry places have a sign. Not to leave machines unintended.
Some are in both English and Spanish

If you don't want anyone touching your clothes. STAY WITH THEM
