Lawrence Kansas rv parks

We are stopping in Lawrence on our way to the rally. Granddaughter goes to school there. Any hints as to where we can park closer to the university. Want to spend our time with her not driving all the time. Any ideas will be appreciated.

There really isn't any campgrounds close to KU, we stayed out at Clinton state park and they have a nice facility just 3 miles from Lawrence. Also there is a Koa on the north side of Lawrence. Lawrence really is not that big and driving to and from is not that big of deal.

Your welcome, also if you are a basketball fan you need to go to the museum inside historic Alan Field house, the original rules of basketball are housed there that was wrote by James Naismith. Downtown Lawrence is on Mass St. and has a lot of shopping and resturants.

We stayed at Clinton State Park [798 N 1415th Rd, Lawrence KS 66044, United States, Tel: +1(785)842-8562] last year while visiting an old friend. Very pleasant.

Hi
If you don't have this app RV Parky I highly recommend it. You just put any city you want to stay in and all the good RV parks in that area come up, with star ratings and comments. We love it just got back from from the Midwest and it didn't let us down.
Hope this helps
Safe travels
