We were just at Lazydays in Tampa. I notice a service area for Lazydays in their area and then saw a service desk at CW. They also had a retail store next to each other. What gives? I don't understand their relationship. Can someone enlighten me?

Camping World is moving up the road and LD now has a store to sort of replace them.

Sales person from Lazy Days told us Camping World is moving out from that Location
That was last NOV.

For years CW had an exclusive franchise to sell and install RV accessories at their store on the Lazydays campus, while Lazydays sold RVs and did RV maintenace and repair. But that arrangement is ending (has ended?) and CW is opening their own dealership down the road a ways, where they will sell RVs in competition to LD as well as have their retail store and do more types of RV service.

Thanks for the information. That clears up my muddy head. I asked one of the sales clerks and she couldn't tell me. As of last week CW is still there at Lazydays.

I believe the new Camping World is open. As I recall it's not more than one or two exits east of Lazydays, also right off I4. I was surprised to see the "old" CW store still open next to the Lazydays service office when we were there in early December.

The sales division has moved a few miles East on I 4. The store will be joining them shortly. Lazy Days has opened a store in what was the customer service lounge ( they moved that to another part of the building ). It does not compare to the selection that CW has as far as " stuff " goes.
