Hi all my folks have been having a lot of trouble with their new class C in Forida and I was wondering if there is a lemon law in that state? I won't mention the name unless they don't get satifaction. Thanks. Scotty.

Fxrscotty, Fl. does have a Lemon Law but I do not know the specifics. Some of our other members from FL may be able to give you more detail. What kind of problem have they been having that they cannot get repaired? Let us know and we might be able to get you more info to help them out.

Thank you for the replies. the problems are too many to list. The coach is falling apart it is just very poor construction or no quality controll screws missing etc. the microwave acually fell out onto the floor, slide out jammed, can't fill gas tank (they were told that the floor had to be cut out and patched). They have been waiting from August for the dealer to correct a long list and have been getting the run around. A helpfull sales person offered to take it in trade. I live in Massachusettes and can't get down there to kick some butt. I feel they are being taking advantage of because of their age and unwillingness to cause trouble. mom says she has got to the president of the co. and wants to see if she gets action. If not I will get involved and share with all. Scotty. ps they paid over 70k for this 24 foot class c.

From my research, Fla. & CA. have good Lemon Laws for Motor Homes.
Florida Lemon Law
There is another alternative, but it takes more time and aggravation.
The Magnuson Moss Act
It is a Federal Law and anyone in any state can use it as a tool to achieve results.
Also, check out this link.........
New RV Protection
If they need more help, have them contact me through My Web Site
I am not an attorney, but I have some great ideas that might help them if they are still under warranty.

Scotty, Maybe you should tell your friend that I have sample Cover letters,
sample Punch Lists and sample "Out of Service" list. Also, other online links which I would can not post on this or any other thread. I will give them to whomever requires them via email upon request.
I want you to know that I am a very happy camper and I have no personal agenda except helping other Rvers.
Toni
PS. I am flying out tomorrow and not returning until the Sunday after Thanksgiving. So if I don't get back to you, it is not for any other reason than I don't feel like taking my laptop with me.
