Yep, BBB is worthless IMHO. We used to have a business, got a call from the local one, they would give us an A+ rating for a membership "fee" of $5,000.
On our '02 DSDP we filed a complaint with the BBB against the dealer. The BBB canceled the complaint since they had a letter from the dealer saying we had settled the complaint and agreed to drop it. The dealer had NEVER contacted us. Even after I wrote a letter to the BBB giving the specifics they still left the complaint closed. I did finally get what was promised but only after the WA AG's office agreed with me and wrote the dealer a stern letter.

Jeez, is there anything left that which is not corrupted? BBB used to be a trusted entity to police commerce on behalf of the consumer. Nowadays it appears it's another crock.

The BBB has always been corrupt. They pulled the same crap on me 25 years ago. They wait until a new business is a few months old and then tell you you have a bad rating but if you pay their "membership" fee they will give you an A+ rating.
Trust Google, although if you are a big enough company search engine results can also be manipulated.

BBB is and has been worthless. The best ratings money can buy. I operated my own business from 1984 to 2000, when I sold it. The BBB was always trying to put the arm on me to join.
As for this loan company deal. Sounds like the real rest of the story is yet to be understood. And I think the only way it will really be understood is by (bad) experience of going with them... I would just sell it myself, unless you are not where the RV is located. Then put it on a local consignment lot.

I wonder if maybe they rent them to make the payments.
