There can't possibly be an RV out there that's more complicated than a female

No. Too much can go wrong. Too expensive. I feel it would be irresponsible to allow it. But if money is no object to someone, let it go.
I would not be doing anyone a favor by giving him such an expensive burden. Stuff will happen!

We loan ours out to our kids. Our thought is, we are not getting our money's worth if it is sitting. They, also, know to bring back same as when it left.

For us, NO POSSIBLE CHANCE AT ALL. I have a great relationship with my son and daughter. More than likely they know better to even ask. As others have stated on this thread, the MH is way too complicated to just lend out to anyone without LOTS of experience with exactly what you'd be lending out. I love the kids, but NO WAY id lend out "The Ten Ball" to them or anyone.

Too many things could happen if loaned to a novice.
If something major happened then it would be awkward for who pays for it.
Plus I don't want anyone else in my bed.
Don't lend it out,
If you can afford it, maybe offer to split the cost of a Rental for them.

I might have second thoughts with someone that I know doesn't take good care of things but the two I have lent it to are very responsible and took good care of my trailer. One even offered to repair something he thought he broke but it was actually something that I knew was broken. They both had great outings and were grateful that we one.

How hard is it to show someone how it works? You could spend three hours with someone, and still never get to every little thing on a rv. Rvs have a learning curve that can take years in total. Did you read my post about the rookies who hooked up the water to the tank flush, and flooded the rental rv with crap water. Just saying. This could be your rv. I have actually seen it happen twice in the last two winters traveling the southern US.

In the 1960s I knew a lumber salesman in San Jose, CA who had a saying that would cover a lot of situations about loaning your RV to a friend; "Friendship ends where the dollar begins."

My son has always helped me with RV repairs and is a great mechanic. He can borrow the RV any time he wants to and I know it will come back better than when he took it. Other than that, I don't borrow anything and don't lend anything if I can help it. If someone needs a tool, I would rather help them fix whatever it is.

Would to my youngest son, just because he has a lot of Rv experience. No one else!
