Great trip out, especially in the spring when the prairies are greening up.
I don't know about 3 days, I left Roanoke, VA at 3:30 PM on a Friday and arrived in Walls,SD the next day (Saturday) at 9 PM. It was a long haul but doable.

You seem to be the exception in this crowd.

I have put in a few back to back 500 + miles day with the RV and it is not my idea of fun. With a motorhome we made 640 miles in one day and I felt like I had been run over by a train the next day. 400 miles is a long day for me now. RVing is supposed to be fun...not torture.

First day out, on the way to Williams, we did 865 miles..

If we are in transit 500 miles a day is no problem..

We like to get there and then vacation..
