Long range plans??

How long do you plan to keep travelling, camping and sightseeing in your RV whatever it is? DW and I are both 67 and just bought ours new in February. Assuming we stay healthy we plan on using ours into at least our early 80's and hopefully to our mid to late 80's. We love travelling and can't imagine a better way to spend our time. On our way back from wherever we just went we're already planning our next trip be it a weekend or three months. How old is to old?

We plan to continue as long as health allows. Currently mid 60's.

Basically as long as health allows. 2 adult offspring. No grandchildren. We bought late 2006 with the thought of 5 months on the road for 3-4 years to scratch the travel itch then sell & be back to our weekend boating in Bermuda. Should have sold the boat. 10 years & almost 200,000 miles we are still going strong.

71 here and will upgrade from a TT to a 5’er and F350 diesel later this year. Good health for both of us so far, so we hope to keep doing this for several more years. I don’t see an arbitrary age to stop as long as health and driving competence allows safe travels.

I am 68 and my wife is a trophy bride of 62. Currently we are out for 3-4 months at a time (except the next trip starting in May will be 5 months) at least twice a year. Once the house sells then full time and the feeling is that as long as we are healthy probably something in the range of 3 years full time. Then back to multiple trips a year till they take my Driver's License away from me

We started full timing at age 55 and have a plan to continue for 15 years. At age 70 we plan to get a small house or condo and just snowbird either in a RV or apartment during the winter. Plans can always be changed, but we do have one.

Uh, you make 70 sound kind of old, kid. Being 71 I can assure you I’m as raring and capable to go as when I was a young whipper-snapper of 55. [emoji12][emoji12][emoji12]LOL

Now 71, getting ready to at least go part time later this year and maybe even full time. Late DW died in Aug 2016 so no real reason not to sell and go.

We are in our mid 60's and plan on traveling thru our late 70's. We bought an RV lot so that down the line we will have a place to park for longer periods of time away from the cold in the North East.

Here's the truth on the OP question. One's body will tell you when it's time to hang up the keys. I suppose one can ignore what their body is saying, but not for long.

My Dad made 83. He then stated it had become too much work.

We are in our mid sixties and like the others have said, it all depends on our health. Physical and mental, although I am pretty sure my kids would say I hit the mental hurdle some time ago.

we've been rving for like 20 yrs already, now into early, mid fifties and we are gearing up for more time on the road, into full time sooner than later now and will go as long as the health keeps up. Full time, no home? Maybe buy a small home in a brand new location we love that we find while traveling? We don't know, we will roll with the right decision on how to proceed as we live the journey All great things to come hopefully! Do what you want to do as long as you love doing it and change with what you want as you want it I guess.

I was a devoted tent camper until my 50's when the thrill of sleeping on the ground and using primitive toilets began to ebb for my wife. We rented a neighbors 30' Winnie for a few years until we got the current motorhome. I imagine we will always be part-timers since we enjoy our sticks and bricks also. I imagine we will travel in the motorhome until it just isn't physically comfortable anymore.
