Long Term Stay

We generally never stay longer than 2-3 weeks at any one location but our current plan is to spend the hot summer on the coast for about 3 months.

My question: is there anything we should do with the rig during that time? I know I should run the generator with a load at least monthly, but what about the MoHo? It is a diesel rig.

If you are not going to drive the MH there is no purpose in starting it. Likewise the generator. However if you are near the coast and the coach endures salt air I would be sure it is properly washed down regularly and protected with a good wax. Including things like the jacks.

Our generator manufacturer suggests a monthly test under load.

We have HWH jacks, the manufacturer recommends cycling them once a month...
