How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

Wow! I wouldn't be driving in that! I'd have pulled over and waited it out.

We were going from Albuquerque to So Cal to visit family for Christmas. There is nothing between Grants NM and Flagstaff AZ so we couldn't stop. We got to Flag and stayed the night because the freeway was closed west of Flag. To make it worse we were towing our 2006 Ford Escape on that trip. I was really glad to get to Flagstaff. We wanted to call ahead and tell folks we were delayed but discovered we left the phone at home so we had to maneuver the Best Buy parking lot to buy a phone. When we got back to the coach with the new phone we heard the lost phone ringing under the Co Pilots seat.
The wiper blades were new but got frozen and clogged with ice. They worked fine the next day.
Oh the joys of early years owning a Motor Home.
Dick

p.s. I'll repost the picture because I can't see the original any more.

I-84, Echo Canyon area, Utah, USA

Summer 2012, on the way to SLC. This was a nice ride, lots of long swooping downhill curves, with the Weber Creek and rail road right next to us.

Brings back memories of the years spent in WY. Would have to get out every once in awhile and "slam" the wipers on the windshield a few times to knock off the ice so they could contact the glass again. No amount of defroster could keep up with it!

Lake Mead

We travel from Hemet CA to Coeur 'd Alene Idaho pretty regular, we will do ANYTHING to avoid San Berdoo, Victorville, Barstow & Vegas, we take the I 10 to 29 Palms, to Searchlight, to Boulder City, go thru Lake Mead an come out at Logandale / Overton, NOW, If we could just get around Salt Lake city.....here's a few pics from between Boulder City an the I 15 on the other side,.......BTW, when you go thru Lake Mead there IS a park Fee, IF you're a sr. citizen you can pay $10 an get a "card" that allows FREE entry into ALL National Parks.....
