Motor Home Magazine issues a list each year.
Downloadable Dinghy Guides | MotorHome Magazine
Before buying a car to tow, verify in the owner's manual that it is towable. Also check the availability of a base plate for the vehicle.

FMCA publishes a list every year and it is very comprehensive and based upon my experience very accurate. I

Also look at the Blu Ox web site as they will list all the vehicles that they make tow plates for and can be towed 4 down. The list gets smaller each year.

You also need to search for the year you're looking. Models change yearly such as the new Honda CRV which isn't towing anymore.

Lot's of vehicles can be towed 4 down. Remco will tell you about every vehicle and whether it can be modified to tow.

We need more info!!!!
What type of MH are you going to be towing with?
What are your actual needs as far as how many people you plan on being with you?
What is the Hitch/Draw bar weight limit?
Answer these questions and maybe we will help you with a list of 4 down Toads that fill your needs.

One thing I do is check out trailer.com when I have a couple of vehicles under consideration. They have base plate installation videos for many cars and I look for how many modifications are required for the install. Some, like my Malibu, really hack up the car including the cooling baffles so I elected to dolly tow even though it can be towed four down.
