Looking for a nice small swivel recliner.
Who here has bought such an item? Looking to replace a barrel chair in my rig. I would like to have other peoples recommendations that have purchased, too much junk out there.
Thank you,
Chris

Twelve years ago I did the same in a previous motorhome. Went with a Lazy Boy. Removed it when I traded in the coach. Use the same chair for several years in our Living room. Since then the chair has moved on to my son's house. Still going strong.

I too have a Lazy Boy small recliner. When we bought ours about 10 years ago, our Lazy Boy shop stated that a swivel can be added to any Lazy Boy chair. May not be true today on different models of chairs. It is a swivel mounted on a circular 3/4 in thick board. We have not bolted to floor, but it is on an no slip throw rug, and it does not move while traveling.

Try IKEA- they have small stuff. One thing nice about lazy is they have wall huggers type so need less room. When we had a loose chair we just put it on it's side for travel. Just part of the setup and takedown.

I bought a Erou Recliner from Amazon.com for my previous motorhome. Do search there, they have quite a few to choose from. It had a heavy base on it so that it didn't need to be bolted down.

I've been looking at the euro recliners on amazon, the reviews aren't very good. What did you think of the quality?

To answer the question above, Laz-e-boys can all be ordered with wall hugging ability as well as swivel. We just purchased two of their wall huggers but without the swivel for our 5er, removing the totally nasty and uncomfortable clunks that Keystone put in their Montana's. All it takes is more money for Laz-e-boy to add these options

I had a recliner with swivel base. This base is a large wood platform. Here I drilled a large bolt 1/2" or 5/8 " size put thru to the cabinet underneath. With a large bolt, it was only hand tight, with the premise that if we wanted to move it, it could be unbolted quickly. I don't recall ever moving it though.
On another note, I have two recliners in my coach now. They came from the factory and ARE NOT bolted down or locked down in any way. We have put the No Slide mats underneath them since they would move on our wood floor. Since it is only two of us, I have not considered much about a tie down for them in case of a extreme emergency.

Disneyfix; I hope the link below works to take you to the chair I bought from Amazon. I thought it sat very good, work with no problems. It cam in a box, so I had to put it together. Word of caution, put the base on once it is in the motorhome. It didn't fit through the door very well with the base on.

Our new trailer uses straps to put around the swivel recliners to hold in place. The straps have a quick release and there are a couple eye bolts that the straps attach to. Since they are not bolted down, we can reposition them to where we want them.

Chris, we have used this Harbor Town - Official La-Z-Boy Website for several years. Unit is very heavy and stable with swivel base.
