Looking for another rv

We are still looking for a diesel pusher in Calfornia, but are also considering a used truck and possible new 5th wheel combo. We would like to trade our 34' Coachmen Rondezvouz motorhome for either a diesel pusher or 5th wheel. We are retired so we are limited in what we can afford. Any ideas are more than welcome. Thank you.

I think the rule of thumb is that if you like driving a car, you will buy a MH and tow a car. If you don't mind driving a pickup around, then you might get a 5th wheel.

You can try Dmartini's in Grass Valley, they usually have some nice units, and great people to deal with.Regards

If you need to trade yours in you'll have to go through a dealer. Find the motorhome you want and can afford, then trade it. However, you'd get more money if you sell it yourself. Good luck. It'll just take time to find what you want.

We found a 5th wheel we like but cannot find a diesel truck to tow it. There isn't much out there in the way of diesel trucks or diesel pusher motorhomes, so we will wait until we find the right thing. In the meantime, we will continue to camp in our current paid for motorhome. Thank you all for your responses.

You didn't post exactly what you're looking for - year - size - price range but you might want to look on this Escapees RV Club forum under RV/Vehicles for sale.

Even if they have an older date if it's something that interests you, give them a call and perhaps they still have it.

We are looking for a Dodge diesel, 2010 or newer, less than $30,000, in California to pull an over 30' 5th wheel. Thank you.

In central ca there are trucks all over the place due to the Ag way of life.

But some are driven to death and others or murdified to death.

Finding one cheap is going to be difficult as they are in demand since fuel prices fell.

Pushers on the other hand may be less common but price could be good if you can finance as the economy due to fake drought resulting from bad water management has wrecked havoc on that same economic system and some folks need to sell off toys to survive and having the ability to buy can help.

Craigs list shows some on occasion from private parties but if you need to trade then it will require a dealer.
