Looking for shelf unit or woodworker to build one

Hi Y'all,

Living with a monkey full-time in a small Class C creates much laughter and many challenges. Finding monkey-proof storage is at the at the top of the challenges list. Sena explores EVERYTHING, so things I don't want her to have has to be secured. One under used space is above the toilet. I have a latch on the bathroom door she cannot open.

I'd like to find or have made a 2-3 shelf unit that I can attach to the wall that is about 28" tall x 22" wide x 4" deep and ideally would have 2" high strips along the front of the shelves to keep stuff from falling off while traveling and maybe a rod to hang a hand towel along the bottom. Nothing fancy, I'm into function, not fashion. It could be painted or stained, but not shabby chic.

Any ideas or woodworkers willing to tackle this challenge?

I think I would go into Home Depot or Lowe's and head for the bath furniture aisle. This sounds like a medicine cabinet. They make them in various sizes and you may special order one they might not have in stock. You might have to customize it by adding a drawer-or-cabinet lock available in the lock aisle.

And I thought cats and dogs could be mischievous...

A medicine cabinet as Full.Monte suggests sounds like a good place to start. However, if you absolutely can't find anything that will work, if you travel to one of the Amish areas (around Elkhart, IN or Holmes County, OH or Lancaster, PA), you can find Amish craftsmen who can custom build almost anything you want. There are many larger wood shops plus numerous individuals who have a sign for custom woodworking at the end of their driveway. We like to go to Holmes County, and there are lots of places that do custom work at fairly reasonable prices.
