Looking for suggestion to see/stay around Hilton Head
Hello all, we will be taking our first long road trip in our MH since purchasing it this past February. We will be going from Texas to Florida, down to the keys. On the return trip, I would like to drive up the east coast of FL, and go as far as Hilton Head, SC. Looking for suggestions on picturesque RV parks in the Hilton Head area, or any where between the top of FL, north along the coast. I have not spent any time in that part of the country, and would love to find one of those secrets, great RV parks in some quaint, little town on the water!!
thanks for any help!

Hilton Head Motor Coach Resort. This is a MH only resort, A, B, or C. It is on the south end of the island, heavily forested, so lots of shade. Very good WiFi and cable TV. Chances are you will not be able to receive satellite, the cable does not require any external boxes.
Bring your bicycles as there bicycle paths everywhere. You really don't need a car to get around. Bicycle distance from the beach, lots of restaurants near by, pool, workout room, tennis and pickle ball courts, and friendly people.

We have stayed that the Hilton Head Motor Coach Resort, it is nice.
On the drive north from Florida there is another place we've stayed at in Georgia, Jeykll Island, there is a campground & gold course, bike trails and beaches. The campground is somewhat not fancy but we enjoy it.
On the drive north to Hilton Head I would recommend stopping in Savannah GA, lots of history, shopping, restaurants.

If you haven't been to that area, I would strongly suggest you visit Savannah Ga. Much more interesting than Hilton Head IMO. look into the campground at Hardeeville SC. close to Hilton and Savannah. We prefer Skidway State Park. Savannah is a beautiful city with many things to do. Much history. Also visit Beaufort SC. AND if you have time head up to Charleston.

Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort & Marina is a very nice resort just across the bridge.
Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort
Both are good, I prefer Hilton Head Harbor.

Why do you prefer HH Harbor? We have driven though there, and agree it is very nice. Seems Satellite there may be a challenge too.
Have not personally seen HI MC Resort, but like how close it is to the beach, and it looks very nice also. Understand Satellite may be a problem there too.
Thanks!
