Looking to buy Rotochoks
So I guess this company is out of business. I am looking for Large size, as I have 4 1/2" between my wheels, does anyone know where I can buy them? Used is fine. Thanks

I don't think anyone on this site will know what they are - This site is motor homes and your "Rotochoks" are for 5th wheels. And yes they are out of business.

iRV2 is not just motorhomes. We have all makes of RV discussions here. Scroll down through the main Forums page & you'll see.
Also Rotochocks are not just for 5th wheels. They can be used for TT's too.
It's probably that not many members know where to find used Large size ones. The set I've got stored in my basement are Small so I'm of no help.
Ted S. - you might try eBay, Amazon or other RV websites that have classifieds. Social Knowledge (owner of iRV2), has many RV sister sites...Airstream, Forest River, Jayco, Rockwood....etc. You could try those.

I sure hate to hear that RotoChoks are no longer made! We used them on three 5th wheels and loved them!

No it's not, it's the General Discussion forum, not the moho forum.
If I recall correctly, it was a mom and pop kind of thing. Maybe illness or something caused them to stop making them. I sure hope not as the are the best thing since dual axles in my opinion.

Pearl, the older lady that ran the business, passed away a couple of years ago. From what I understand, she ran the company entirely by herself because her husband had passed earlier. Then I guess a family member?? took over the business, cancelled all of their dealerships according to one dealer I talked too. They sold only direct, now their website has gone down, the domain has expired, and they are not answering the phone.

Back in 2010 I almost invested in a Roto-Chok but decided not to.
Instead this is what I use on my rolling garage cargo trailer. I have one that I put on one side which gets locked whenever it is used.

That's too bad about the business. Guess I'll keep my set of RC's since they're no longer made. They'll make a nice conversation piece sitting on the bookshelf.

Looking to buy Rotochoks
I had no clue what they were, so Googled them out of curiosity, and found a site called viprv.com that claims to sell them in 6 sizes from 5/8" to 6" tire spacing. Is this them?

Better call ahead to make sure that they really stock them as they appear to be a third party re-seller. Which means that they will take an order and then obtain the product from the original supplier and resell it to you.

That is them. They do not stock them anymore, they only have the very small size left. They were the ones that told me the owners have passed on.

Not Roto Chocks, but seem like they are designed to do the same thing...

Those bal deluxe chocks don't hold a candle to Rotochocks. They are not built the same way and even the home made wooden ones are better than the bal chocks. That is my opinion, your mileage may vary...
