Hi,

I am looking to rent a class A for a few months for a special project that I'll be conducting. I would much rather deal with someone privately.

We rented a class c last summer from Portland,Me. We had checked on a class A. We were quoted $5,000 dollars for the month. The class c cost us $1,500 dollars.

Just my opinion, but I would never rent out my MH. Some dealers will rent them but you better have deep pockets.

Good Luck

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I've seen rates that are $5k/month, I would like to keep the costs lower.

ProudAmerican, welcome to iRV2.com. We are glad to have you join us here. I am sure you will enjoy this website and forums. What part of the country are you in? Some of our members familiar with that area may have some suggestions for who to lease from. Good luck and keep us posted.

Why not just buy a nice used entry-level class A (I know of one for ~$25K - an '02 Fleetwood Fiesta 31' with 2400 miles on it - that is quite decent), use it for the time you want, and resell it. Even if you take a $10K loss, you'll be ahead, I'd think.
