went to Loretta lynn's r v park to stay while visiting Nashville, just a friendly warning, the address on their web site will lead you out onto a dirt road a ways from where you need to be and so will map quest.this isn't anyplace for a mh to be, the only house on the road as i slowly drove by the lady on the porch was shaking her head in pity i think as we crawled by.
if you are coming there by way of forty west get off at exit 143 go north on 13 toward Waverly great road takes you right to the office.
if you are coming from the east same thing do not get of at buck snort like the gps wants you to another bad road go to 143 then north on 13 to Waverly.
nice folks really quiet park lots of trees and very well kept they put up a large sign about half a mile from the interstate but the gps will turn you just before you can read it( at least us mature folks) so if you are fan or just don't want to camp next to a interstate in Nashville this is a nice alternative with about an hour drive into Nashville

happy traveling frank,cricket and harley

An old fashioned map is hard to beat. I use them exclusively and have no such problems as you ran into.

Electronics: Garbage in and garbage out.

i agree with you ralper but in this case i looked up the place on a map, before i go i usually ck it on a atlas then make sure my gps agrees in this case they all agreed on 13 highway the trouble started when i came to the first hwy 13 yep there is old 13 and new 13 and i didn't let my gut instinct take over ,by the time the road had degraded we were at the right amount of miles and never being there before and there was a road with the right name there and being from Arkansas where lots of stuff is down a gravel road we went happily down the road the place is listed as an r v park and a dude ranch so what the heck i could see it being just down the gravel a little bit.
the rest you know this on is one of those where you do the right thing and still get can't win but it was an adventure just don't want anybody else to have that much fun if i can help it.

We are there every year the first week of August they host one of the largest motocross races of the year there....

Thats what all those bumps and jumps in that field to the right when you drive back towards Lorettas old house is. And be careful they say its haunted around there and yes some real strange things have gone on around there.

we talked to crisse lynn she is Loretta's daughter she runs the cafe at east side before you pull into the ranch she said they have been trying for years to get the gps changed but to no avail so the next best thing is word of mouth.
it is well worth a stay at her place but better if you can avoid the misadventures of the back roads

best wishes frank,cricket and harley

The trouble is, the GPS mfgrs. do not make their maps. They buy the map software from Navteq mostly.Garmin has a map correction form on their website. Another approach to submitting map corrections is: Where to submit map corrections.

Do submit the correction. I've submitted several and all were eventually acknowledged (it does take awhile).
