I still have two sets but this is driving me crazy. I go out monthly to run the engine and generator. I always hang my keys up afterwords. I've searched everywhere and can not locate them. Anyone else experience this?

Yes, unless you're traveling, loosing your keys is usually just an inconvenience. That is why Jan and I will carry two complete sets of keys at all times...plus another set in the RV hidden. The REAL problems occur when you forget what whose keys are FOR! Bob

John I turn 40 this year and most will probably consider me young but I'm already beginning to forget little things.

A few yeass back the show TWILIGHT ZONE explained it.Life is a play and you are on a stage. You move to a new stage every 1/2 houre. The stage hands have a script to follow to set up the props. Occasionally they miss something so when you come in you can't find it.A couple sets later they will notice and put the keys where they belong. So you come back into the roomand the keys are right there where you looked 1/2 houre before.

What's really bad is you have the key and you can't figure out what it's for.

What's worse is when you put something away in a spot you won't forget...
Or, after looking for hours and you find it in plain view!

Good grief!

Whats even worse is when your on the road, out at a restaurant and someone lifts your jacket off the back of your chair your sitting at.... $192 to replace the CRV remote/key, remote for the motorhome plus engine key, dead bolt lock and storage compartment keys. Not to mention the jacket my wife purchased for me at a resort we were at.
Sorta ruined our dinner out with friends. The nerve of some really surprises me!!

Oh, by the way that was in texas 2 weeks ago, currently at Lazy Days enjoying the sun

Don't worry! Your keys are right where you left them.

I have a problem that when I step outside my big fingers hit the toggle lock on the door. Fortunately my wife was inside the first two times, and the last two times I had the keys in my pocket after saying to myself the first two times to never go outside without them.

I subsequently added one of those "lock boxes" on the outside with two spare keys to get into the coach. No problem on the ignition key, as it is hanging on the antenna so I can remember to crank it down. Now, where did I put my ignition key? Darn!

Check the ignition or any compartments that needed opening to use the generator.
