Hey Joe what specific model did you get? I cannot see the whole thing you have there and their store shows ones with an adjustable pressure range.

Interest--I bought a "high-end" [Watts????] offered by C/W several years ago. Generally happy with the overall performance--flow is very good with no apparent restriction. However, on occasion, I notice that if I haven't used any water for a while, the pressure in the coach will creep up over the set limit [have two gauges installed, before and after regulator]. Not sure how that happens?????

My high end watts froze this winter. Do you guys think I can just replace the gauge itself? The unit is not cracked or leaking in any way but the gauge is pinned. Needle went all the way around to the stop and stayed there.

yes, you should be able to just unscrew it and put in a new one.
I would take the gauge off and try tapping it with something, maybe it will swing back

Well, it kind-a looks like the one below, the one that many have complained about for years as not a very good unit.
Bulk Water Regulator - Valterra A01-1120 - Hoses, Reels & Fittings - Camping World
I had one for a while but, it severely restricted the flow so I've been using the Valtera one.
Adjustable Water Regulator - Lead Free - Valterra A01-1117VP - Faucets & Inlets - Camping World
It will be interesting to see how your new one works in the long run. My Valtera does leak on occasion so, I might be in the market for a replacement.

Mounting a pressure regulator at the coach won't stop high pressure from bursting a hose sitting out in the hot sun. I have one that I screw onto the spigot before the hose. It doesn't have a gauge, but I have one with a gauge just before my water filter housing in the wet bay.

Look at the first item on this page. Scan on down the page and the pressure gauge is the first one with the hose swivel connections!

Not sure what you're referring to, but I totally agree. I use a "Y" fitting at the spigot, with the flush hose on one side and the RV supply hose on the other!

Plenty of water - plumbing system is fine.
Now I never thought about the hose......
I also have a couple of those non guage regulators laying around here someplace - perhaps I cook hook at up at the spigot and protecht the hose.........although - I have never heard of hose busting from the pressure. But I guess it is always a possibility.
