Low Profile Class A ?

After 27 years in two class A's that were both low profile motor homes that slipped the wind without being over 11 feet tall. This allowed us to keep them in our barn when not in use. With the coach at 10 feet and the A/C units on the roof, they both went in & out our 11 Ft. door.
Anybody know of other low profile DP's with good towing capacity???

the Thor Palazzo and ForestRiver Legacy are both on the XCS chassis and run at 11'9" approx at ride/air bag height - prob 11'4" when the bags are lowered

we love ours as the lower height/chassis only requires a single entrance step(many times not even needed), and less worry about overpasses

There are no 2016+ Class A's that will fit in an 11 foot door opening. I believe the shortest these days is 11'8". I too would like a short Class A no longer than 30' in actual length. Maybe some day. So I bought a Leisure Travel Van Unity Class C Mercedes Sprinter Chassis Diesel. Love it!

Paul Dobbin-

Should you not find any low-profile Class A coaches (new or used) to your liking, you may want to look at Lazy Daze Class Cs. They top out at 10 feet 6 inches.

To be under 11 foot you will have to go with a Class C gas - I just checked a few and that seems to be it

Thanks for you suggestions, I guess I'll have to keep our vintage Airstream. I found the Vintage section of this Forum and it could be reason enough to keep it.

Low profile

I'll still consider suggestions until we hit the road again in February. This old girl is still fun @ 11 mpg and the clock only at 113K.
