Low-suds detergent?
My Splendide 2000 W/D instructions say to use a low-suds detergent. We are having trouble finding one! What do you use and where do you buy it?
Thanks!

Container will have a small circle with 'he' in it.
Stands for high efficiency.

Hope I'm not misleading you, but I think most any brand marked HE will work. Our S&B washer requires low suds detergent and we generally use "All", there and on the road.

Just about any grocery store. Just read the box/bag closely.

Joe & Annette..... We use Tide liquid he in our 2100, when we can find it, and the regular when we can't. Also use Downy fabric softener as applicable. Not much visible suds, and no problems in two years. Diane says she uses a correspondingly smaller amount than you might use in a normal s/b machine. Also adjusts down for load size, as you might in any machine.

Thanks everyone! We'll look for the "HE" designation!

As stated above, I use any he type and only one or maybe two tablespoons of it. Yes, I said tablespoons. Cleans just great.

In the stick house we have Samsung units, they also say "HE" detergent. We use the regular Costco stuff but only half the normal amount. Been doing that for years now with no trouble. BUT, in the MH I do have the Splendide liquid soap.

We use the Purex HE pods more for the convinces of just tossing a pod in the washer with real good luck. Only thing we've found is that 1 time the pod didn't dissolve as it should so now we prick a hole in the pod and toss it in.

Even though tyhey are no longer made, DW found some Purex 3 in 1 sheet on Amazon. They work fine in the Splendide.
