LP Gas alarm
I recently was steaming some shrimp inside the mh using Old Bay sesonings when the lp gas alarm sounded. once I shut down the steaming and cleared the air the alarm silenced. I don't what is in the seasoning to cause but I wont do it again.

Check the age of the detector , could be due for replacement. Usual is every 5 years.
I've seen , bacon cooking set the alarm off and in one case a ladies hair spray.

X2, they are to be replaced every 5 years. Most have a date stamp on the back. If it was old bay, mine would be going off all the time. Can't get enough of the stuff!

Garlic, It smells like propane to the LP detector.

Lots of things will set off the LP detector. The dog used to sleep beside the one in the bedroom in the motorhome we used to have. If she would pass gas during the night, we would be awakened by a loud, screeching alarm. It only took a couple of times for us to figure out what was going on and move her bed.
When the cooling unit of our old Norcold failed, the ammonia also set off the LP alarm. Our neighbor was running his generator one time when we were boondocking, and the exhaust set it off.
That being said, it is also true the alarm can get more sensitive with age and eventually fail. Ours failed at 7 years of age. When it fails, the only way to silence it is to disconnect the wire.
