All depends on what manufacturer uses for a propellant. I have had bug spray set it off.

Not uncommon. Yankee candle room air freshener sets mine off. However Fabreez air freshener will not?

Hair spray, Lysol spray or any other aerosol can that uses butane for a propellant will set off an LP detector. Most aerosols today do use hydrocarbons for propellants since fluorocarbons were banned by the EPA for this purpose.

There are several propellents used in spray cans.. Some will set off one or another detector in the motor home.. Usuall the explosive gas (Propane) Detector since often the propellent is an explosive gas.
