I currently have mail forwarded to the RV Park. However, on Aug 8 I no longer can have it forwarded. I tried to change my address to the RV Park but it says you can't have mail delivered to a business address. How do I get around this?

We had a mail forwarding service through Escapees RV Club and we picked a small post office to have our mail sent via General Delivery - even in Alaska. No problems in 16 years and got it via Priority in 2-3 days....5 days in Alaska. We moved around and didn't stay in one park. It worked for us.

The post office will only forward Mail from a residential address. Forwarding to the RV park counts as a commercial address and you can't forward from there to another address.

Just make sure that the post office accepts general delivery mail. Not all do. Usually, if it is a single post office in a town, then they accept it but if multiple post offices are located in town, usually the main one accepts general delivery. A simple call will let you know if they accept general delivery mail. We find this a good option as many campgrounds we stay at do not allow for postal mail delivery. Just bring ID where you go to pick up your mail. We do use a mail forwarding service as we are not stationary and our mail is kept there until we are ready for it and inform them of where we want it forwarded to.
