Not as far along with it as Vetl82 posted earlier, but making some good progress. Got the paint touch up, new dishwasher installed and the tile floors finished to replace the bad vinyl flooring in the bathrooms. Got the house on the market and listed on line by our realtor yesterday and doing the routine "come by and see it" clean up tasks today. Wife's not ready to give up possessions yet so I went out and rented a storage locker for her early week before last. Not sure who I'm going to get to stop by and give here food and water, but I'll think of something. Checking online north, east and west of the Houston, TX area for leads on property. Wanting 1/4 to full acre as a permanent RV "nest".

If the stuff is in the storage locker this time next year, give it away. Kids, relatives, goodwill, salvation army, dump, recycling. Then drop the rental.

Agreed! I'm hoping that within 3 to 6 months after we sell the house we will find something from a quarter to full acre to use as an "RV Home Port" as long as we can travel rather than another full size S&B with the intend of adding a large storage shed for tools and W&D and later maybe a park model/small mobile.

Stan, you are just too funny like my hubby:
"Wife's not ready to give up possessions yet so I went out and rented a storage locker for her early week before last. Not sure who I'm going to get to stop by and give here food and water, but I'll think of something".
Slow but sure always wins the race, ask the hare and the tortoise. It'll all fall into place. Exciting times for you and Shirley.
