Map to email

Hello everyone,

Can you recommend a website to create a map to save and send to family and friends that we can create with our routes and stops?

Thanks for your help,

Stuart & Leslie

You can create a map in MapQuest.com with multiple stops by going to directions and +add a stop. You can add as many as you want.

From there you should down load CutePDF (free download), which allows you to print to a PDF. When you have your map done got to the print function on internet browser. Hit Print, select CutePDF as the printer, a screen will pop up for you to save the file to a location, create a new folder you can find (your desktop) and save the itinerary by a chosen name i.e Aug 2015 trip.

Once you do this you can open the file and add pop up notes with comments >>> visiting friends from Aug 24-26, for each location.

Then just attach the file an email.

If you do not want to go the .pdf route, MapQuest will give you the option to send your map by url to your friends or family, or to embed an HTML code in a web page (for example) by just copying and pasting. Easey-peasey -- use the "Link/Embed" button in the top right corner.

I'm not familiar with how Google does this, but it prolly does the same thing.
